Hire Our Venue – Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AND CHARGES FOR HIRE OF GLOSSOP MASONIC HALL.
PLEASE NOTE THE ENTIRE BUILDING IS STRICTLY A NON-SMOKING and NON-VAPING AREA

GENERAL

For evening bookings, the Hall will be available frown 7.00pm. Opening hours for the Bar are 7.30pm -12.30am. All guests should vacate the premises by no later than 1.00am.

External catering is allowed; however, access is not available to the main kitchen at any time, and an additional charge of £25.00 will be required.

The minimum age for the purchase and consumption of alcohol will be strictly applied. Persons who are considered to be intoxicated or are behaving in a drunken or disorderly manner will not be served or allowed to consume any further alcohol. The consumption of alcohol not purchased on the premise will not be permitted in the Hall or the lodge grounds.

Damage Liability -All costs incurred with regards to repairs/replacements required as a result of damage due to actions by any person within the party of the hirer, will be met by the hirer.

In addition to the above terms and conditions, the party booking the function will be required to ensure that there are at least 10 responsible adults in attendance at all times during the function.

Opening hours-for the Bar are normally 7.30pm -midnight. Individual requirements, e.g., events commencing before 7.00pm are subject to separate negotiation.

All guests should vacate the premises by no later than 1.00am.

Note: if the above conditions are not adhered to then the Bar Manager will exercise their right to close the bar and request that the premises be vacated.

CHARGES

Charges for the hire of the Hall are £90.00, this includes a £50.00 non-refundable deposit to be enclosed with completed, signed booking form.

For outside catering an additional £25 is charged (for both members and non-members) for access and clearing away. The Hall is not available for 18th/21St Birthday parties.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Full refund of monies paid (except non-refundable deposit) for cancellations received 6 weeks prior to date of booked function.
